First I’d like to say Thankyou for taking the time to read this, my sister is 36 now  and was 35 when she was diagnosed with NMO. First her eyes started bothering her…she felt soreness and a little pain behind them. That then turned into blurred vision in one eye, the whole process with her doctors and insurance took awhile before she was able to get the scans she needed…after they put a liquid in her eyes to take her scans her other eye was affected and now both of her eyes are blurry. I just can’t imagine how hard it must be to suddenly without warning lose your vision or anything else this disease causes. The steroids have not helped but I pray something works and wont lose hope for her and everyone else who suffers from NMO. If anyone knows of any support groups for her it would be greatly appreciated. God bless.
